Each year, 8 schools or community groups are chosen as national finalists and receive $10,000, and an all-expense-paid trip for 3 students and 1 teacher to one of the SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Adventure Parks. The teacher or group leader selected as the "Environmental Educator of the Year" will receive $5,000 and a trip to the National Science Teachers Association Convention.
