PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Focus on marine ecology as your group compares the needs, niche, adaptations, relationships and habitats of animals from different ocean environments.

Your group will:

Visit California sea lions, harbor seals and bottlenose dolphins from coastal regions
Explore the many relationships in the coral reef
Learn about sharks, the sea's most mysterious creatures
Understand how penguins and alcids survive in their harsh polar homes
Venture into the open ocean to meet killer whales, the sea's most important predators


Consider adding a sleepover experience to your Edventure.

Want to know what goes on behind the scenes at SeaWorld? Visit the zoological support area and backstage at Shamu Stadium to learn about animal care and the basics of animal training.

Your group will:

Get up close to killer whales
Peek into SeaWorld's state-of-the-art animal health laboratory facility
Learn about animal transportation
Handle biofacts
Touch stingrays and a shark

SeaWorld provides a customized interactive program developed specifically for mentally and physically challenged students. This program introduces students to a variety of marine life, while our staff of experienced instructors provides each student with an educational experience designed to meet his or her individual needs. Students will be able to feed either dolphins or sea lions.
